PROJECT README
Accretion Disk File System is an experimental storage backend, filesystem qualification lab, and access-heat controller. It explores how applications can use a local working set over an object-backed namespace.
The current Pyrophone prototype uses patched JuiceFS, PostgreSQL metadata and an S3-compatible fixture. Its retained qualification covers specific filesystem, recovery, capacity and cache-control experiments. It manages one writable client, with all fixture and recovery copies on one host.
Independent backups, multi-host fault tolerance, offline mutation, multi-writer coherence and production rollout remain unqualified. No storage service is deployed on the Polinaria VPS. Source code remains in a private Forge repository.
